Just two days old and already 2009 has started off well for Dagenham & Redbridge.
Manager John Still picked up the League 2 manager of the month award much to many daggers fan’s dismay. Curse anybody?
Also, on the first day of the transfer window, Daggers announced that they had completed the signing of 20-year-old winger Graeme [...]

Illness and being away for christmas meant the only Dagenham football I saw this month was the 45 minutes against Exeter before the lights conked out. However, on the pitch, the daggers have picked up 10 points in their last 4 games.
Previously, I had written about a potentially tricky christmas period where although there wasn’t [...]

Due to a mixture of illness, ill timing and being away for christmas. The only Daggers football I’ve attended this month was the 45 minutes played against Exeter.
Therefore, I don’t feel I’m in any position to single out 4 nominations for the forum POTM.
In that case, I will leave this month as a free choice.
Feel [...]

After a frustrating month where good performances were not quite reflecting the Daggers points tally, the side bounced back in emphatic fashion disposing of a previously in form Macclesfield side 4-0.
After someone turned out the lights a little too early when the Daggers were leading Exeter 1-0 last week, it was a welcome three points [...]

Although November saw a poor start there were many good moments to be treasured such as knocking League 1 Hereford out of the FA Cup and taking runaway League 1 leaders Leicester very close.
Here are the 4 nominees for November
Scott Griffiths – Been back to somewhere near his best this month. Has looked dangerous going [...]

After a great week beating Notts County 6-1 and progressing through into the FA Cup 2nd round, the Daggers had a much tougher fixture list for this week.
First up was a league game away to Shrewsbury Town. The same Shrewsbury Town that beat Dagenham 5-0 in the JPT. However, the Daggers gave a performance which [...]

Great news for Daggers fans today as young winger Matt Ritchie extended his loan deal for another month from Portsmouth.
Apart from a slight blip, Matt has been a constant performer on the left side of midfield for the Daggers and has struck up a tricky partnership with left back Scott Griffiths.
The 19 year old [...]

A good week all round for the Daggers as they disposed of League 1’s Hereford to earn a trip to Leceister before thrashing Notts County 6-1 at Victoria Road.
Atfer several indifferent results as of late, it was imperative that the Daggers got back on track with 2 home fixtures.
The week began with the visit [...]

For the second successive season running, the Daggers had a heavy defeat inflicted upon them in the quarter finals of the JPT. The away side could have no complaint with the final score which did not flatter Shrewsbury in the slightest.
With the Fa Cup tie against Hereford on Saturday, John Still decided to rest Peter [...]

Daggers 4-0 Grimsby – Tuesday night
Daggers 0-0 Accy Stanley – A wet Saturday afternoon
Dagenham and Redbridge will probably view this as a decent 4 points to pick up. A comprehensive victory against a poor Grimsby side was expected but a visit from bogey team Accrington Stanley had many fans unsure of the outcome. After a [...]
