Daggers POTM January – winner Matt Ritchie

Very mixed month for the Daggers with the following results

3rd – Rotherham (A) – Drew 1-1 (Ritchie)
17th – Barnet (A) – Drew 1-1 (Nokkers)
20th – Exeter (H) – Lost 2-1 (Strevens)
24th – Rochdale (H) – Won 3-2 (Arber, Ritchie, Southam)
27th – Grimsby (A) – Drew 1-1 (Nurse)
31st – Darlo (H) – Lost 1-0

Still here are the nominees.

Tony Roberts

Good month for Robbo. Top class save against Rochdale to give us the win. Also made a brilliant save from Ravenhill when unsighted against Darlo. No mistakes and consistent as ever!

Matt Ritchie

Must be our best outfield player. Skillful, quick and great technique. Pops up with key goals and is better than League 2 level

Mark Arber

Captain has led the team well. Defence hasn’t been as shored up as usual but his leadership is never in doubt and he chipped in with a good goal against Rochdale

Jon Nurse

POTM maybe is a bit far but he’s come in and covered brilliantly for Saunders with no fuss and deserved his goal against Grimsby. A real workman!

Vote away!

For me it could be Robbo but going for Matt Ritchie , moves around the pitch trying to inspire , can turn a defender and can turn a game. Odd mistake but who’s perfect ,he’s not a Dagger player but you could believe he is .
    Matt Ritchie.

Tough one this month. No real stand outs but I would go for Ritchie. He always looks dangerous and has popped up with 2 goals.

Nursey for me very much improved player and had a good month. Maybe actually should be Robbo hould have got MOM against Darlo and has made some crucial saves
